Teaching

It has been my privilege to teach a variety of courses while employed at Michigan Tech, ranging from first year recitations to graduate courses in Organometallic Chemistry and X-ray diffraction. During the previous year, I taught Inorganic Chemistry I and II,  the Inorganic Chemistry Laboratory, a recitation section for First Year chemistry majors, a course to all incoming graduate students for Safety in the Chemical Laboratory and a seminar course for chemistry seniors. During the summer months in track A I teach an online course entitled University Chemistry.  I find that students do really well with online instruction as they have the capability to proceed at a pace to their own liking. I think it competes very favorably with in-class lectures.
