We are interested in glycan-binding proteins (GBPs) and glycoconjugates (glycoproteins and proteoglycans).

Major Projects

(1) Human lectin Galectin-3 and its interactions with glycosaminoglycans and proteoglycans.

(2) Development of new methods to detect and purify glycan-binding proteins (GBPs) and glycoconjugates.

(3) Discovery of bioactive compounds from plants.

(4) Structure-activity relationship of GBPs and glycoconjugates.
